I really love this little guy...Charlie has been coming to the studio since he was just a couple of days old....and now he is 6 years old!  It's amazing how the time flies..and he has always had a full head of hair..Love it!

Little Tyler was sooooo sweet...we took his pictures up in the foothills during the wildflowers blooming, I really think he enjoyed being "all natural" in the grass!

Ethan turned the big ONE!  I've worked with his mommy and daddy since their wedding too and it is such a joy to see their family growing.....especially since Ethan is going to be a big brother soon!

Ella was brought into the studio just a couple days after her mommy picked her up from the hospital trhough an adoption...she has been a little blessing to the Burk family since she arrived, and she is so full of life I just love working with her throughout the year (her and Troy are only 4 days apart in age)

I truly believe that Ethan will become the next All-Star athelete...this little guy runs circles around not only his mommy, but all of the keds nearby too!  And his got a great arm & a great kick too.....just a ball of energy!

So many Spring birthdays!  This is Connor, he turned ONE too!  His mommy and daddy first worked with me for their wedding too...now we're playing with baloons in the park!


Little Ozzy has the most beautiful and soft hair...ever....and eyes that can make any girl melt.  He's so much fun to work with and always full of smiles!

So many Spring Birthdays!  Cameron turned ONE year old too!  I have known his mommy for as long as I can remember...we go WAY back...and I just love seeing her become such an amazing mommy and so thankful that she has allowed me to be in her little man's life...even if it is behind teh camera!

 

 

Thank you to ALL of our "Van's" Families...it is such a joy to be part of your little one's lives and we enjoy every second of it!

"April Angels"

Little Tyler turned 1 Year Old!  I Can't believe it...it feels like just yesterday that I was photographing his mom & dad's wedding!

The Fimbrez Family is continueing to grow....and I am so happy to be a part of it!  Isaac came in when he was first born, then Diego was born...now little Armondo!  And each one of them is just as cute as the one before...and all of them are BIG Rams Fans!

This little princess is Lara...her mommy and I went to elementary school together, and since then we have remained friends....I also photographed her parent's wedding a couple years back, and boy were they excited to have a GIRL!  Jacquelyn said she had some tips for me to try and have a girl next time around...we'll see if it works!

Introducing the De La Cruz family....such a great bunch of well behaved kids...and their little sister is the sweetest!  These boys are going to have their hands full when she gets older!

Our neighbors from down the street had a new baby...this is Kwest...he was an absolute angel!  His unrully red hair reminded me of his big brother ;)

 

Thank you to all of our wonderful families that intrust us to capture their little angels grow through the years! 

We look forward to the many memories yet to come and can't wait to be a part of it!

Rebecca & Paul Dreiling - April 12, 2013

Rebecca Ward & Paul Dreiling had a beautiful Spring Wedding at Wolf Lakes Park on Friday April 12th.....the weather couldn't have been nicer and it was so great to see so many familiar faces!


  

Rebecca, her mom...and I believe her sisters too all either work or have worked for the Wolf family at the park for quite some years now...in fact that is how she and Paul met!  You see, Paul is Paula Wolf's nephew...and well one thing lead to another and here we were!

 

It was so sweet to see Rebecca and her mom get to be on the other side of kitchen for once...and they were just glowing all day long!

 

  

Rebecca was a beautiful bride...and she picked the perfect color and dresses for her ladies...they were just stunning!

 

I have to admit...these little girls tried to steal the show!

  

 

    

 

She can really pull off that dark red hair......I couldn't wait for her groom to see her!

 

 

Paul was on time and ready to go!  And his parents and family were so sweet!

 

  

 

The groomsmen were absolute characters!  They really enjoyed mixing things up and added a bit of flare as we went...it was really fun to work with them!

    

The ceremony was just perfect...the gentlemen arrived by boat....

    

 

 

Rebbecca was escorted down the aisle by both her mom and dad.

 

 

They didn't make too much of a mess pouring the sand ;)

As soon as the formal pictures were done we were able to catch the end of the sunset just in time!

Rebbeca's "blue" theme was just perfect for her adorqable yet simple cake design...and it looked so yummy!

   

Once the dancing began I saw a whole new side of these too....they really knew how to cut loose and have a great time!

 

 

 

I really enjoyed being a part of Rebbeca and Paul's wedding day...and I hope their families and friends will get to enjoy their pictures to their fullest!  I look forward to working with them as their family grows and wish them the very best of luck and happiness for the future!

February Angels

We had such a busy Baby month in February!!!  I love each and every one of these little angels and so blessed that their mommy's and daddy's were willing to hand them over to me this month for some of my best newborn shots ever!

 

This is Jace...he's 3 Months olf now...and always sporting a great new hat!

If by chance you follow me on Facebook at all you would have seen that my cousin had a beautiful set of twin girls this past month...and I had the amazing pleasure to meet them and spend some real quality time at their side while they were only 1 week old....

And this is Sydney Danielle.....

shhhh......a secret!!

Can you tell what this little prince is going to be when he grows up??

And precioius Armondo.....he was so soft!!

 

And we had these precious little sister come in too....early Easter Portraits

Now Alexia......she had the most beautiful eyelashes!!!  They were so dark and long...just stunning!

What a blessing each of these sweet peas are....I can't wait to watch them grow!!!

Sky & Richard Newton - Novmber 3, 2012

I was so excited that Sky & Richard's wedding was finally here....we had been having so much fun since day one..and during their engagement shoot...so I couldn't wait to see what would come from the wedding!

 

 

Sky had really had fun with many of the details of the wedding...special inside jokes that came out in Richard's shoes...and just the pretty little touches of creativity that make a wedding "yours"

 

The girls were a great bunch...super fun and free-spirited and easy to capture on film


 

 

 

  So I guess Sky and Richard have been together for quite some time...and the story behind these shoes was these were the same shoes that he wore....EVERY DAY when they started dating.  Sky found them in a box in the garage and spiffed them up with a fresh coat of paint and some badazlement.....I don't thing Richard minded too much ;)

  

The fall is my absolute favorite time to photograph a wedding at Wolf Lakes Park...the colors just jump out at you and make the images really stand out form the rest.

 

The ceremony was in the Garden.....beautiful as usual!

I LOVE the color grey in weddings these days...I think it's so classy and elegant!

 

 

Once again....it was getting late in the year and the sun was setting earlier and earlier...had to run out to the dock for some last minute sunlight on the water!

The style for the wedding was very elegant and streamline....

   

The style for the wedding was very elegant and streamline-classic.....black and white all the way from their original wedding invitations and save the dates (which I designed and printed for them of course!) through to the details on the cake.

  

It was the end of another beautiful and magic night at Wolf Lakes!

Lauren &Travis Brunner - October 20, 2012

I hadn't been out to a wedding at D&D Ranch in Madera in YEARS!!!  But it was exactly how I remembered and we had so much fun in the "Old West"....Saloon and all for Lauren and Travis' wedding!

 

 

Lauren was a true Burlap & Lace kinda girl...and I'm sure due to the help from the amazing Cassandra (wedding coordinator extroidinair)....you could see the great detail of her vision and style in every aspect of the wedding.


 

Cowboy boots anyone???

 

They had an absolutely beautiful wedding party, the ladies were stunning, and the color choices just perfect for the location!

 

 

Travis was a true country boy!!  And despite the arm twisting I had to put him through in the beginning, he finally loosened up a little for some pictures too!

 

The blue jean and paisley tie was such a good look!  One of my favorites of the year!!

The ceremony was held inside the large barn on teh property...and was quite a site with all of the hanging lanterns and chandeliers...just beautiful!

 

  

   

Yay!!  They did it!!

Once again, had to do a bt of rushing to try and get all of teh pictures that Lauren was dreaming of before the sun went down...no problem!

 

 

Again, the attention to detail in the decor was just amazing...directly from a bridal magazine...great job!

The outdoor reception on the grass held all 400 guests...and during dinner the ceremony barn was transformed back into a dance hall...

 

 

So the last time I did a wedding at D&D Ranch I was an assistant for my dad, Van...and I remember us getting the entire bridal party into the Saloon for a great shot of everyone getting a little crazy on the bar....so it was a given that we would just HAVE to get back into the saloon again for another epic shot...unfortunately was was quite difficult getting all 18 bridal party members together at once so we just grabbed the bride and groom real quick and threw the shot together....This one is for you dad!


Congratulations to the new couple!  Hope you have an amazing life together and thank you again for allowing me to be there with you along the way!
