What an amazing wedding at the Portola Hotel & Spa in the beautiful town of Monterey! Tara and Jacob were married in a romantic garden, surrounded by historic missions...a perfect setting for the intimate wedding they shared with 50 of their closest friends and family. We were able to use some fantastic archways that wrapped around the gardens, and then of course made a special trip to the coastline.....not much of any beach, but some fantastic rock formations along the cliffs....and they were all such great sports about it! Thank you again to the Skeels and Maggiore families, it was a pleasure!!!
Ashley Lyons and Quinn Robinson tied the knot on August 14th at the beautiful Madera Municipal Golf Course. Luckily the weather was a little cooler with a nice little breeze, and the foyer of the golf course has some great archways and lighting that allowed for some really nice shots.
Both families put on a great celebration, and the bridal party seemed to all have a great time.....easy to do with such a fun-loving a great couple as Ashley and Quinn are!
Sunset pics on the green out by the water were especially nice -- loved seeing Ashley's purple shoes! And it was great to see some of Quinn’s friends from the Navy make it too!

Jacklyn Lara was such a beautiful bride on the 7th, tying the knot in Fresno at Holy Spirit Catholic Church to her husband Chris Jones. The wedding was absolutely spectacular.....like anyone would have doubted it....and it was so great to spend such a great day with all of those great Madera people (we go way back to Berenda Elementary...Go Mustangs!!)
We first started out in the Lara's immaculate backyard...white gazebo and all!!! Then met the guys at the church (almost got in trouble at one point for being in the wrong room at the wrong time...oops!)....but the day was beautiful, and everyone really looked great.
Then off to Copper River for the reception. It was a huge bridal party, so not the easiest to get everyone to cooperate at all times...but I think they did pretty good. And talk about a fantastic job decorating the reception!!! Great job to "Oh So Swank" and "Grand Occasions" for it all!
To the bride and groom, thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your big day and we wish you the very best!
Jessica Shroeder and Jeremy Felmus finally tied the knot at the beautiful Wolf Lakes Park on Friday June 25th. The weather was absolutley beautiful...not too hot....and it was so great to see these old family friends and spend such a magical day with them! Not only are the bride & groom super cute together...and my gosh been together for a long time......but it was great to see their entire families come together for an awesome celebration.
We had a blast photographing them...not to mention the cutest little flower girls and ring bearer too! And we wish the very best for them and their future together! And I'm sure they are having the time of their lives in Europe right now on their honeymoon.....have fun!!
A Big CONGRATS to Jennifer & Eddie!!!! They tied the knot on Saturday, June 12th...and despite the heat, the wedding was not only beautiful, but everyone had a blast! Van covered the event, along with his son Jon...and a new assistant Danielle...so there are enough images for the new married couple to last FOREVER!!! Jennifer looked stunning....and it really was just a perfect day, perfect venue at Hobbs "The Grove"...and the bridal party was a real hoot! We thank the Ruizs' for letting us be a part of their beautiful day and look forward to working with them again in the future as their family grows!
Congratulations goes out to Jamie & Dale Brew!!! They "got hitched" at the beautiful Sierra Meadows Country Club in Oakhurst on Saturday the 19th...and couldn't have asked for a more bautiful day or amazing couple to work with. Jamie was stunning.......really stunning....and Dale a character as usual. They both seemed to really enjoy their time with family and friends the whole way through the day, and it really toched my heart to hear Jamie proclaim her trust and faith in my ability as her photographer to her guests throughout the evening. The weather and venue were so perfect...that believe it or not we actually got a pecture of a deer on the green!!!
I'm so glad I got to be a part of their day and look forward t not only working with the Osterberg and Brew family more in the future....but seeing them up in my back yard at Shaver Lake!
